Sew on patches are fabric patches stitched directly onto a garment using a needle and thread or a sewing machine. There's no adhesive involved, the thread itself creates the bond, which is why sewn patches hold up longer than any other attachment method.

Patch Style
Sew-on backing works with all our patch types. Sew on patches for clothes come in the following styles:
Embroidered sew on patches — Thread stitched onto a twill base. Raised texture, durable, classic look. Available at 50%, 75%, or 100% embroidery coverage. The higher the coverage, the richer and more opaque the finish.
Woven sew on patches — Finer threads woven tightly together rather than stitched on top. Better for intricate detail, small text, and logos with a lot going on. The surface sits flatter than embroidery.

Printed / sublimated sew on patches — Full-color photographic print on fabric. Handles gradients, blended tones, and complex artwork that stitching can't replicate.
PVC sew on patches — Flexible rubber construction, waterproof edge-to-edge. Heat-based backing doesn't work on PVC, so sewing is actually the standard attachment for PVC patches on tactical and outdoor gear.
